4th International Persian Congress of Acarology

Congress program

 Dear colleagues,

After successful holding of 3rd International Persian Congress of Acarology (IPCA) in Tehran, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 4th IPCA, I am very pleased to invite acarologists and mite and tick interested professors, students and researchers all over the world to attend the IPCA 2022 that will be held in Mashhad, Iran, from July 28th–30th 2022.

Mashhad, also spelled Mashad or Meshad, is the second-most-populous city in Iran and the capital of Razavi Khorasan Province. It is located in the northeast of the country. It was a major oasis along the ancient Silk Road connecting with Merv to the east.

Mashhad is also known colloquially as the city of Ferdowsi, after the Iranian poet who composed the Shahnameh. The city is the hometown of some of the most significant Iranian literary figures and artists, such as the poet Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, and Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, the traditional Iranian singer and composer. Ferdowsi and Akhavan-Sales are both buried in Tus, an ancient city that is considered to be the main origin of the current city of Mashhad.

The Congress will have plenary, ordinary and poster display, addressing every issue on Acarology and will be an excellent forum to establish new links and collaborations among participants. Also workshop(s) will be held immediately before and/or after the Congress.

For more information, please see http://ipca4.areeo.ac.ir

If you have any questions related to the symposium please contact the local organizing committee at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We are sure that participants will enjoy the experience of 4th IPCA (2022).

We are looking forward to meeting you in Mashhad where you will be warmly received.
